What to do if you are a puppy purchase scam victim.

From what you have experienced, you have become aware you are yet another internet scam victim.

The emails you have been receiving are part of a scam operation and should be regarded as such. Please do not trust the source of the email you received. These people copy information and logos from our website at www.airanimal.com and other legitimate websites and paste it to their e-mails in order to look legitimate.

Air Animal has only one office located in Tampa, Florida but we have found from previous scam victims that these imposters fabricate office branches in other states and even overseas.

They typically request payments be wired to the individual in Laounde, in Cameroon, a country in Africa. Do not wire any funds to anyone you do not know personally or anyone in another country, especially in Africa. These imposters have unfortunately scammed many people, both nationwide in the USA and globally throughout the world.

Please forward the correspondence you have had with these scammers to ...... abuse@FTC.gov.

You are laying a brick in a wall to prevent further abuse. Also, please report the fraud by contacting the US Secret Service which can be found in the white pages of your telephone directory under "U.S. Government".

In the UK, contact: SCD6 Economic and Specialist Crime OCU Wellington House 67 – 73 Buckingham Gate London, SW1E 6BE +44 (0) 20 7230 1220 ... with an e mail address of ...... fraud.alert@met.police.uk.

If you are located somewhere other than the US or the UK, contact your local police department or visit the following website to locate contact information for reporting the fraud.

We have found the following website to have a good amount of general information and suggest you to visit the site .... http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/Victims/reporting.htm
