Hearing from people across the country and across the world; as they report to us the cut and paste identity theft of the Home Page of Air Animal Pet Movers ... you may wish to educate yourself about the ways scammers operate.

Smart, cunning, brilliant, persusive, etc are only some of the terms we can use as these internet predators seek to extract money from you.

SCAM Report # 67 ---- easily identify a pet purchase scam

Disclaimer: Air Animal, Inc. ..d/b/a .. Air Animal Pet Movers is the Tampa, Florida based pet moving service for relocating families; globally, nationwide, and throughout TampaBay/Central Florida.

Imposter companies, claiming to be offshore offices of Air Animal, will attempt to lure you into purchasing pets (puppies, parrots, monkeys, etc) based upon photogrpahs on various web sites.

These African continent based internet predators are based in the following countries: Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Chad, Burundi, Nigeria, etc. Working from internet cafes, the pet purchases start with below market prices. The scams are based upon multiple levels of CASH money transfers via Western Union and MoneyGram. Once you send the money via WU or MG ... your chances for recovery of funds is poor to none.

To easily identify a pet purchase scam; simply do the following: enter the name of the person you are working with in a Google search; along with the country, and the following countries; Cameroon, Nigeria, 419, Ivory Coast, Chad, Burundi; and of course, any unusual names you are not familiar with. The history of the scammers are clearly posted on a variety of web sites.

Offshore scammers and internet predators have histories of working various scams to a global audience.
