Canadians lose CAD$800.00 ; SCAM Report #55
from the desk of Dr Walter Woolf, the founding owner & managing director of Air Animal Pet Movers .. the Tampa, Florida / USA based pet moving service for relocating families .. providing nationwide & worldwide live animal logistics.
the caller from Brantford, Ontario, Canada had previously wire transferred $800.00 Canadian dollars by MoneyGram through CanadaPost to the African country of Cameroon, for the transport, etc of two teacup Chihuahua puppies ... from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Brantford, Ontario.
And, was wondering where the two teacup Chihuahua's were. the puppies were non-existent.
I suggested the caller from Ontario to contact the following parties: the RCMP's internet fraud department, kijiji.ca for allowing free classified ads on their web site as the "lure" for scammers to post their fictitious offerings,and MoneyGram for their participation in internet fraud, as well as CanadaPost for their participation as well.

Scammers stoop to new lows : SCAM Report #51

the Cameroon scammers are stooping to new lows in human behaviour when they ask you for your religious affiliation as part and parcel of their desrie to extract cash from you in the form of either Western Union and/or MondeyGram payments for puppies, parrots, monekys, etc that simply do not exist.
these pets only exist in the form of digital photos on web sites.
this past week has been a bad week for Canadians who have wired CASH overseas to the AFrican country of Cameroon ... waiting for puppies that simmply will never arrive, as they never existed in the first place.
when the conversations, either by e mail or in person involve your religious affilation, its time to cease communicating with the person and/or persons at the other end of the conversation.
Ask yourself this simple question: "what does my religious affiliation have to do with the acquisiton of a puppy, or anything for that matter"?
the answer is obvious. Caveat emptor ... buyer beware !

Canadians targeted for Internet Puppy Fraud : SCAM
... the caller of earlier today from New Brusnwick, Canada could not understand why he had not received his teacup Chihuahua from California, after he had sent via MoneyGram the amount of CAD$500.00 to the U.K.
... and, he was waiting for the telephone call to come
... the answer was simple; there was NO teacup Chihuahua puppy coming from California, and he was another vicitim of the overseas scammers, now using the UK as the money drop in their global internat fraud scheme.
and ... Air Animal Pet Movers of Tampa, Florida sustained another business identify theft from these overseas scoundrels.
... Caveat emptor .. buyer beware ... before you send your hard earned funds by either Money Gram or Western Union money order .. discuss with the agency accepting your funds the purpose of sending the money
... and, he was waiting for the telephone call to come

... the call came in from Missisauga, Ontario, Canada that the Chihuahua puppy was ready for shipment from the Winnipeg office of Air Animal ..... which does not exist ... to Toronto ...
... the money was to be wired by Western Union to the Cameroon office of Air Animal .. which does not exist ..
... another potential pet owner saved from sending their hard earned funds from Canada to Cameroon .. a certain ripoff ..

Air Canada Travel Restrictions - pet embargoe
Travel Restrictions on Air Canada
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Due to high passenger traffic during the Holiday season, NO pets can be accepted for travel between December 18, 2007 and January 5, 2008.
Smaller aircraft types--the E75, E90, CRJ and CR7, for example, cannot offer adequate comfort during colder winter months. On these aircraft, live animals cannot be accepted between November 1st and March 31st, and/or any other time the temperature is below zero degrees celsius. Furthermore, due to extreme heat, we may not be in a capacity to accommodate animals.
Large and extra-large containers are not accepted on the following aircraft due to size: E75, E90, CRJ and CR7.
Toy-sized dogs, puppies and kittens are not reccommended in the following aircrafts: A319, A320 and A321.
Shipment of females in heat (estrus) is not recommended.
Females with suckling young and weaned puppies younger than 8 weeks old will not be accepted for air transportation.
