SCAM Report #66 -- Weekend Warning !

Disclaimer: Air Animal Pet Movers, with offices in only Tampa, Florida is a provider of pet moving services to relocating families, globally, nationwide/USA, and within the Central Florida/Tampa Bay area. Air Animal is NOT a provider of transportation of puppies purchased across the internet where there is a financial relationship between a buyer and a seller.

The weekend is a favorite time for families to explore the possibilities through the internet of purchasing a wide variety of objects. Scmmers love weekends; please read on for more information.

The purchasing of a puppy, parrot, monkey, etc over the internet is easy. You see a photo of a cute, adoreable pet on the internet. The listed price is a bargain, and below market pricing. All you have to do is send money to a total stranger in another country, on the promise you will have puppy delivered to you by "Air Animal".

WRONG ! as our offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, you have no way to determine if the puppy you have sent money for is on its way. Also, the internet predators in Cameroon, Nigeria, Chad, Burundi, etc will not give you the airline air cargo airwaybill, nor will they give you the airline flight numbers; as you are entering a scam relationship.

Also .. most airline air cargo offices are closed on the weekend in the USA, Canada, and elsewhere.

As you will observe from the above, weekend purchases over the internet of anything are suspect, and should be treated with extreme caution. Once you send the CASH money via Western Union or MoneyGram, the scammers will only ask for more money; as they have hooked you as a "fish" .. and are simply rolling you into further expense; with nothing to show for your hard earned wired money.

Summary; Avoid weekend internet purchases. Know your seller personally; not through a fictitious internet relationship; ask for a minimum of three (3) satisfied customers of the seller of the item (puppies); read the 65 blogs posted by Air Animal previously; Google any of the following; the name of the seller, Nigeria, 419, Cameroon, Chad, Burundi, Ivory Coast, Cayman Islands, Yorkie puppy scams, English bulldog scams, and a new world of information will unfold before your eyes.

SCAM Report #65 - an intelligence test ... just takes a few minutes

Disclaimer: Air Animal Pet Movers is NOT engaged in the transportation of pets where there is a financial relationship between a seller and a buyer.

Air Animal is a pet moving service for relocating families, globally, nationwide/USA, and in the Central Florida/Tampa Bay area. From its one office in Tampa, Florida... Air Animal directs the movement of pets for relocating families.

You or a member of your household find a "free" or "low cost" puppy, parrot, monkey, etc on the internet or through an advertisement in your local newspaper. The photos of the puppies, etc are cute, adorable, and your hopes begin to rise as you get ready to send money (cash) to a total stranger and internet predator in another country.

Before you wire the CASH money ... via MoneyGram, or via Western Union... or via Canada Post .. go to Google.com . and enter the name of the person you are communicating with .. along with the following keywords ... "internet fraud", "internet scam", "interent predator", "Cameroon", "Ivory Coast", "Cote de Ivorie", "Chad", "Burundi", "Arica", "Cocos Islands", "cayman Islands", "Canary Islands",and "Nigeria". Also enter the name of the person who you are dealing with.

The name of the person you are dealing with is merely a name; a fictitious creation by the internet predator who has only one interest and one interest only --- to separate you from your hard earned money.

Or, if you have trusted the internet predator at the other end of the e mail .. or at the other end of the phone, and have sent cash money overseas, and are wondering where your pet purchase is .. then enter the persons name in Google's keyword search, and see for yourself that you've been scammed.

Advice from Western Union : protect yourself from possible scams and internet fraud

From the Western Union website and their internet fraud section

" Online Fraud

Sending money to someone you don't know? You could be at risk for consumer fraud.

You're contemplating the purchase of a puppy, parrot, monkey, etc from an alleged animal dealer, broker, breeder, etc in the African country of Cameroon, a total stranger who has posted a photograph of a cute, darling, adorable pet on the internet.

The Western Union Money Transfer service is a great way to send money to people you know and trust. If you need to send money to someone you don’t know well, you may be putting yourself at risk for fraud.

It's all a matter of trust; who can you trust, especially on the internet?

Because we care about consumers, Western Union urges you to protect yourself from fraud by considering the following:

Never send money to a stranger using a money transfer service.

Especaially in another country; once you send the cash, the likelihood of getting it back is nil to none.

Beware of deals or opportunities that seem too good to be true.

If it's too good to be true; it's too good to be true; there are no free lunches in this world.

Check out the prevailing price of that puppy, parrot, or monkey in your local market area; be a wise and smart shopper.

Don’t use money transfer services to pay for things like online auction purchases.

Never send money to pay for taxes or fees on foreign lottery winnings.

If you think you've been a victim of fraud, contact us at spoof@westernunion.com."

Multi-Level Internet Fraud .. money to the UK. When you're asked to send money to the UK -- or elsewhere - for pet purchases ... read on ...

.. when the Internet seller of that cute puppy, Pomeranian, teacup Chihuahua, teacup Yorkie, adorable Maltese, beautiful Bulldog puppies, etc ... wants you to send money to the UK for the purchase ... B E W A R E .... the MoneyGram and/or Western Union payment is only the beginning of a multi-level scam where all you will get are receipts for your cash transfers ..and nothing else.

.. when the money arrives in the UK .. it triggers an automatic transfer to another bank account in another country. Simple, yet a highly effective method of global fraud for the African based scammers in Cameroon to receive cash in their accounts.

.. posted in the interest of educating pet owners in north America... Canada, the US, and Mexico ... to avoid purchasing pets via the internet ..,.. posted by: Walter M Woolf, V.M.D. .. the principal owner & managing director ... I'm being deployed to Afghanistan .. my puppy needs a home; SCAM

... wow ! .. the Cameroon scammers will resort to anything ... try this one on for size ...

... the script goes like this ... "I'm being deployed to Afghanistan; and I need a home for my puppy (you pick any cute breed you wish)".

".. please wire me USD$228.00 so that I can ship the dog to you ".

... the gullible, and well meaning person wired the money to a total stranger in another country .. the African country of Cameroon ... ... shame on Western Union or the MoneyGram people for participating in this example of internet fraud.

... then the call comes for more money .. usually for insurance or for sudden veterinary related fees... you begin to realize that you are yet another scam victim.

... published in the interest of educating potential pet owners as to the hazards of the internet.

"where are my puppies?" .. knowledge is power

yesterday's calls regarding "where are my puppies?" were numerous. "I wired the money as instructed (yes, to a total stranger in another country) and we are waiting for our puppies (two Chihuahua's) .. and .. they want me to wire more money for "insurance", the puppies are in Ireland, and we're in Alabama"

yes... the Alabama family were another victim of imposters who copy and paste various parts of Air Animal's website (and, other companies as well) to make it look "real" to you as the unsuspecting buyer of "two puppies".

For the record, Air Animal, Inc. (Air Animal Pet Movers) is the Tampa, Florida based pet moving service for relocating families. We do not move pets where there is a buyer or a seller; and we have only one office.

Anyone posing as a representative of Air Animal with a web site similar to ours is an imposter, and .. If you would share the website of your original contact with us, we will shut down the false website, so that others will not be mislead.

Wiring money to a total stranger in another country on the false promise of you receing puppies, kittens, monkeys, etc is risk many have chosen to take; and heartaches are the only thing you will obtain.
